Description:

The particularity of the Sorcerer's Cave lies in the fact that you will see sculptures carved at the time of the Magdalenian 17,000 years ago (time of Lascaux).

Many animals are represented, such as a bison or horses. These animals are the first group of engravings.

The second one is particularly impressive since it shows three human figures, including the famous 'sorcerer'.

Planning:

An hour allow you to fully enjoy the cave with the given explanations.

The cave is open from March to September:
- From March to June: from 10:00 to 18:00
- July & August : from from 10:00 to 19:30,
- From September to November: from 10:00 to 18:00. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.

You will be delighted by the nature that surrounds the cave of the sorcerer.

Indeed, the light will allow you to interpret differently the trip: the gleam of the morning and then the bright light of day and finally back to the darkness of night, you will experience the semi-troglodyte village as if it were poping out of the cliff and then returned there to spend the night.

Souls poets will be enchanted.
Leaving the cave, you will be able to enjoy the collections in the museum, building which is also half dug into the rock.
