The Aerospace Museum of the Presqu'Ile Cote d'Amour (MAPICS) shows a few old planes fully restored by local volunteers. When you admire the machines, imagine looking at an object that has required a minimum of 10,000 hours to be restored. Then you will understand the effort and the willingness of teams on the ground who have come to such a result.
Planes that are shown here are: - A Firefly Caudron C 275 from 1937 (5 years of work for its restoration), - A North 1101, - A Morane 317, - A Piper J3 - A Bulldog, aerobatic aircraft, - A Mauboussin M123, - A Bleriot XI, replica (1910) of the one that used Louis Bleriot for crossing the Channel on July the 25th, 1909, - A Gardan G-Y 80 , The Starck AS 37: unique copy in the world, - A SIPA 901, being restored, - A Pou-du-Ciel.

The free tour of the museum lasts about half an hour. However, you'll meet many exciting passionates! and you may have a chance to see an old machine taking the air. The duration of the visit will hence depend on you.
