 The car museum of Vernon is located in a magnificent site: Vernon Castle, which dates from the 17th century and that was recently renovated. You will discover fifty: - Sedans, - Sport coupe, - Sports cars, - Car competition from 1921 to 1997. The auto museum is open in July and August from Tuesday to Sunday from 14:00 to 18:00. It is open from October to May by appointment directly to the museum at its direct phone number : +33 (0)5-49-45-28-72. The museum is accessible to disable persons. It is also arranged to accommodate the visually impaired and people with intellectual disabilities. 16% of the area of the town of Vernon was placed as natural area with ecological interest for its fauna and its flora (Fontcoudreau site). The town also maintains a tree that is registered in the inventory of remarkable trees list: it is a domestic Sorbier (Sorbus domestica L. : tree in the family Rosaceae). |
