The Bargoin museum is divided in two departments (see the link to access the second department here below).

The Archaeology Department has collections dating from prehistoric to the Graeco-Roman.

The Carpet & Textile Art Department allows to discover this area which is intensely present in our everyday life, thanks for instance to temporary exhibitions which, like the exhibition 'Fragments of Egypt', invite visitors to travel the world.

Two hours allow you to discover many archaeological and artistic aspects of this area.

The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 12pm and from 1pm to 5pm and on Sundays from 2pm to 7pm.

Permanent collections allow you to discover in great detail via numerous objects the Bronze Age, thanks in particular to the 'Treasury of Manson', that is the rest of a bronzesmith composed of many parts.
The ex-voto room was closed for renovation until late 2009.
Many Gallic painted ceramics are also offered at the sight of visitors.
