Located in the heart of 45 hectares of preserved nature, the Parc de Branféré is one of the largest animal parks in France. It is home to more than 1,500 animals of 195 different species, including 60 threatened species, living in semi-freedom within vast multi-species plains. Here, no cages, no cars or false decor: everything is designed to promote animal well-being and natural behavior. During your visit, you will be able to come across giraffes, siamangs, okapis, red pandas, pygmy hippos, Humboldt penguins, wallabies and even the impressive Indian rhinoceroses. From Africa to Asia via South America, visitors embark on a veritable tour of the animal world, in the heart of a remarkable botanical garden. Branféré is also an adventure suspended in the heart of Nature with the Parcabout. 2900 m2 of giant trampolines in the trees to have fun, jump and climb freely into the heights of nature.

A half-day to one day is necessary to fully enjoy the park.
It is open following the planning that is accessible directly on the official web site of the parc.

The park is particularly focused on environmental education. A contact area is organized to allow you to touch some animals. It is possible to take a guided tour of the castle. Park is adapted for disabled persons.
Picnic areas are planned outside the park.
Dogs are not allowed in the park.
During certain times of the year (contact the park), it is possible to spend an evening out of opening hours along with a host from the Nicolas Hulot School. The visit of the castle, a bird show and a dinner complete the evening.
