The remains of an outdoor camp dating from 8000 BC were discovered in 1964.
It seems that this place was a way used per the deers. The nomads who hunted them settled at this point. We know that one of their previous steps was located near the confluence of the Marne and the Seine about forty kilometers North, and we found about twenty layers that show that the installation of this camp was getting very regularly.
