 The castle of Savigny-les-Beaune, built in 1340 is a magnificent setting in an area of 12 hectares for presenting superb collections of - Motorcycles, - Abarth cars of course, - Airplanes and helicopters, - Models of airplanes, - Clearance tractors, -Material of the vinegar and of the wine, - Firefighters vehicles  D2, 21420 Savigny-Les-Beaune Savigny-Les-Beaune is located near Beaune, city that is itself located near the cross of the two highways A6 & A31).  Plan a good half day to enjoy the collections and the framework provided by the castle. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.  More than 250 motorbikes are shown. They cover a period going from 1902 to 1960. The castle, location of the Abarth club, homes one of the most famous collection of 'Abarth' cars and prototypes. More than 80 war planes are presented, many from the ir patrol of France, several aircraft Dassault (Mirage and others) and several MIG. A superb collection of more than 2500 models of aircrafts will continue to amaze you during your visit. Special tractors used to treat the wines are shown. A last, children like adults will be pleased to admire the firefighter cars and trucks . The area has several restaurants that can welcome many people and offers the possibility of tasting the wine coming from its own 20 hectares of vineyards, bottled in the cellars of this same castle. |
