In this world of sweet smells, you will see how the candies are made in an old fashion method:

Plainfaing is located at the foot of the Col du Bonhomme, between Saint-Die-des-Vosges (17 km) and Gerardmer (20 km).

From Mulhouse, go to Colmar towards North.

From Colmar, take the direction of Nancy. Cross Ingersheim, Kaysersberg, Hachimette, Lapoutroie, Col du Bonhomme, then take the direction of Auvernelles and arrive at Plainfaing.

From Nancy, take to the Southeast and cross Cross Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy. Take the A330 towards then the A33 to Strasbourg and Colmar. Continue on the N333 towards Saint-Die-des-Vosges/Colmar/Moncel-les-Luneville/Luneville-Zone Industrielle/Baccarat. Continue on the N59 and on the D415 to Colmar, Gerardmer. Cross Saint-Leonard then Anould and arrive at Plainfaing.

From Strasbourg, take to the South via the A35 towards Colmar and Mulhouse and take the exit 17 a Selestat West. From there, cross Chatenois, Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, then go towards Barancon and Auvernelles and arrive at Plainfaing.

The factory tour lasts about 15 minutes.
The factory is open daily (except on Sundays and during holidays) from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.

Tours are very well organized: guides have mics, workshops where the stages of production take place have TV screens that give you many explanations.
700 kg of sweets are made daily during visits.
This confection is the 5th most visited industrial site in France.
