Lezoux has a name that fits very well the city as it takes its name from ancient Roman, Lutosus, which comes from lutum (means clay, potter).

The museum offers temporary exhibitions, such as the 2009 ones titloed 'Garden side, courtyard one', dedicated to Roman gardens, sometimes decorated with mosaics and murals paintings.

The tranquil area invites to contemplation of the works thus produced.
