 The Oceanographic Institute is a private foundation, state-approved. It has been created in 1906 by Albert I, Prince of Monaco. Its mission is to make the ocean known.  One hour of immersion allow to be a little more fan of the aquatic world. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.  The Oceanographic Institute has two locations: - Paris, welcoming place for all those wishing to deepen their knowledge of the world of the sea, also a meeting place for students and researchers; - On the Rock of Monaco, to house the collections of His Serene Highness Prince Albert 1, and to continue his research, and where are the famous aquariums known and recognized all around the world. The foundation has celebrated its centennial in 2006. The shop has many items, books and toys relating to the world of the sea. |
