 This Moon eclipse will be during the night from the 27th to the 28th. It will be partially visible in France starting by 9:29pm (French time). The total eclipse will start by 9 :30 pm until 11:23pm ; the event will finish by 1:28am. A Moon eclipse appears when Earth is located between the Sun and the Moon. Our satellite is hence in the shadow of our planet. However, instead of to be only in the dark, Moon appears in red. Actually, the sun light is split when it goes through the atmosphere of the Earth, as it would be through a prism or through the rain that is making a rainbow. So, thanks to this split of the light, the Moon is in red. The show is very nice and will please everyone who will look at the sky.  From the 27th to the 28th, from 21h29 to 01h28 (French time). The eclipse will be total from 21h30 to 23h23. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.  As we said upper, this eclipse will be the longest of the century: it will last after 103 minutes in France and in Europe, and will be visible during 4 hours in Africa and in Asia. The duration of the eclipse will depend of your location. The lowest magnitutde, at the maximum of the eclipse, will be 1.61. To enjoy the most of teh show, you will be able to go on observatory sites where telescopes and fan clubs will be able to show you and explain you this exceptionnal eclipse.
