The museum's exhibits are organized as follows:
- Movie 'Birth and twilight of the giant seaplanes' (20 min), then, by historical order:
- Pavilion 1: The precursors, races and raids, airlines, ocean crossings and discovery of continents
- Pavilion 2: Carriers of the 30s, especially with all the great Latecoere;
- Pavilion 3: seaplanes during World War II;
- Pavilion 4: From the post-war Aeronaval until today's seaplanes.

Finally, the 480 m? exhibition hall shows a dozen of historic aircrafts.

The tour takes between one and half an hour and two hours, taking into account the movie shown at the beginning of the visit, which lasts 20 minutes.

The museum is open all year from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. except on Tuesdays and the bank holidays, and from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. without interruption in July and August.

The museum of the Seaplane is located at the former assembly and testing base of the largest French seaplanes, which is the the place chosen initially by Pierre-Georges Latecoere.

The museum is a very important document center, and contains objects and aircrafts on an 850m? place.

The museum is accessible to disable persons.

A resource center provides researchers with a library and a photo documentation center.
