 You will discover how the transformation of hides into leather takes place. All steps will be unveiled by the guide from the washing to the dyeing. A video completes the tour.  An hour allow you to understand what look like the leather works. The museum is open daily all the year, from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00. The tour lasts 40 minutes; the video lasts 20 minutes. The educational workshop will last 30 to 40 minutes depending on the age and number of the children. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.  The museum conducts educational workshops tailored by age of children, and tours for school groups can be arranged. An educational kit usable in the classroom is also given. Educational objectives announced by the museum are: - Discovery of a profession and its knowledge, - Understanding the processing steps of the raw skin transformation to obtain the finished leather, - Touch leather. The museum is accessible to disable persons. A parking is on site and can welcome cars and buses. Pets are allowed in the museum. |
