The Natural History Museum of Blois has been created by the Society of Natural History and Anthropology of the Loir-et-Cher between 1881 and 1903.
In 1910, the Natural History Society gave his collections to the city.

Today, they are displayed in the Jacobins located near the Place Louis the 12th.
