The particularity of the Sorcerer's Cave lies in the fact that you will see sculptures carved at the time of the Magdalenian 17,000 years ago (time of Lascaux).

Many animals are represented, such as a bison or horses. These animals are the first group of engravings.

The second one is particularly impressive since it shows three human figures, including the famous 'sorcerer'.

An hour allow you to fully enjoy the cave with the given explanations.

The cave is open from March to September:
- From March to June: from 10:00 to 18:00
- July & August : from from 10:00 to 19:30,
- From September to November: from 10:00 to 18:00.

Leaving the cave, you will be able to enjoy the collections in the museum, building which is also half dug into the rock.
