 At 15 minutes away at the South of the famous beach of La Baule, located at the end of the river the Loire (the longest river in France), Saint-Nazaire is an industrial city par excellence. Its industrial centers are many and of major interest. Thus we find: - The very large commercial port, - The submarine base, - The industrial center with the impressive facilities for the airplane A380, - Shipyards.  To visit the city corretly and quietly, several days to a short week is better. It is also to be noted that the visits to Airbus factories and shipyards require a booking two weeks in advance (delay reduced to 2 days for European Union citizens).
