 At the edge of the park of Branfere is located the Nicolas Hulot School, which hosts mainly schoolchildren (CE2, CM1 & CM2) in environment classes to promote the opening of children, adolescents and adults in the world life around us in all its diversity. Nicolas Hulot School welcomes visitors, however: - in school trips, the 'environment classes', - But also weeks of extracurricular activities, open to both individuals and groups, for 8-12 years old and 13-17 years old, - At last for children and olders, weekends 'Discoveries' and stays specific to some themes. A total of 28 stays, including 6 for the 8-10 years olds, 10 for the 10-12 years old, 1 for 12-14 years old, 8 for the 13-15 years old and 3 for the 15-17 years old are organized current July-August and during October this year 2011. Many school activities are also arranged from 1 day to at least 5 days.  Environment classes last one week. Click here to access the programs. Extra-school activities, also known as themed holidays, last one week long (see details on the school website by clicking here). All public stays last a weekend (see also details on the school website by clicking here). Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.  With a multimedia room and its multimedia library, the Nicolas Hulot School has the stated aim of becoming an educational center and a resource center in the environmental field. This is also why the programs are organized with the support of School & Nature Network with a partnership with the Ministry of Education. The school cab welcome the disable persons, and therefore all children can participate. The school buildings, HQE compliant (High Environmental Quality), consistent with the educational mission of the school, contributes to learning of eco-citizenship. They include: - The offices of the animation team, - The activity rooms, two workshops for science observations, a multimedia room equipped with computers, a media room, a meeting and recreation room, - Accommodation for 80 guests: rooms with 4 to 5 beds with shower room and integrated rest room.
