Genius Tour Search Engine:

The eta-Aquarids is one of the finest swarms of the year.

Like Orionids that are also coming from the tail of Halley's comet, the shooting stars of this cluster are very fast (66 km/s) and leave behind a trail that remains visible during a few seconds in the sky.

It should be noted that for the years 2008 & 2010, the activity of the swarm was larger than usual, according to the attraction Jupiter has over him, and according to a 12-year cycle.

The swarm is visible from the April the 19th to May the 28th.
The maximum of intensity is on May the 5th.

Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.

Between 10 and 30 meteors per hour are able to be observed.

The swarm is most visible in the Southern Hemisphere, but at the North, the show will present as well.
