The Noree Caves are registered since 1934. Located a few miles away from Poitiers in the heart of the valley of the Boivre at Biard, are the only ones open to the public in the department.
Closed for 14 years, they have been reopened in 2004.

They have stalagmites and petrified waterfalls highlighted by the play of light created by local artists.
You will see concretions such as petrified waterfalls therefore, increased by sails, white stalagmites and draperies that stand out beautifully from the tinted wall.

The Noree Caves are near the village of Biard, at the South-West of Poitiers not far from the highway A10.
Biard is located just at the South of Poitiers-Biard Airport.

Visiting the caves lasts approximately one hour.

The caves are open from May the 1st to September the 30th at the following times:
- From May the 1st to June the 30th: Open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.,
- From the July the 1st to September the 4th: open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.,
- From September the 5th to the 30th: Open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
