The point of departure of the steam of Trieux is the train station of Paimpol.
The arrival point is the one of Pontrieux. Boat rides or carriages ones are possible at Pontrieux to increase the cgharm of the visit on-site.

Machines that run on this touristic line:
- A steam locomotive 141 TD 740 dating from 1932,
- A locomotive Henschel & Sohn 231 K 8 dating from 1912,
- A locomotive 230 G 353 dating from 1922,
- A locomotive Mallet Henschel & Sohn 020 020 T dated from 1911: Already 100 years for this massive steam engine weithing 43.6 tons and with an output of 700 HP!
Some of the cars driven by the steam engines date from 1920 and are known B7t, type 'Thunder Box'.

Paimpol is at the North of Guingamp and of Saint-Brieuc.

Access by car :
From Rennes (1h30 long) : Take the N12 toward Saint-Brieuc, then 'Paimpol direct' (second exit) by the D6 until Lanvollon, then the D7 until Paimpol.
From Lorient (2h00 long) or from Vannes : Take the direction to Pontivy / Saint-Brieuc, then the D6 until Lanvollon and the D7 until Paimpol.
From Brest (1h30 long) : Take the N12 until Guingamp, then take direction to Lanvollon and the D7 until Paimpol.

Access by train :
At 0h40 away from Guingamp TER train, line Guingamp-Paimpol.
Link with the Paris-Brest TGV train.

From Paimpol, you will go along the lake of Trieux and its river, then you will stop by the small port of Traou-Nez at Plourivo, you will see the castle of La Roche-Jagu, you will cross the river Le Leff and then you will reach the village of Pontrieux.

Free parking at the station of immediate proximity of Paimpol.

The age of the train cars does not allow disable persons to enjoy the trip in good conditions.
