The Water House is located in a mill dating from the 16th century.

You will see:
- Scenographies around the four seasons,
- The water cycle,
- Life around Sologne ponds,
- The operation of the hydroelectric turbine still working a few decades ago.

The house is located in a park along the Barangeon river, along a wooded trail that takes you to the mill pond.

You can also visit the bog Guette, a natural heritage with its own ecosystem.

The flora and fauna will be explained.

Depending on the weather if you want to complete the walks by a picnic, you can spend an hour to half a day on the place.

Neuvy-sur-Barangeon is part of the Community of Communes of Villages de la Forêt.

The Bog of the Guette is 23 hectares wide: this is the largest of the Sologne.

It is the home to endemic species that you will enjoy to see and to photograph.

Hydrology and the carbon cycle are particularly well illustrated by the sites that you see.
Explanatory booklets are also used to complete the tour.

Finally, a free access walkway allow you to approach closer to this wet world, keeping feet dry and protected and ensuring that plants are not damaged.
