The zoo shows you more than 200 animals spread over 40 species, including:
- Lions of the Atlas,
- Sumatran tiger,
- Giraffes of Niger,
- Maned wolves (nicknamed the 'fox on stilts')
- Meerkats,
- Jaguars,
- Tapirs,
- Red pandas,
- Penguins Cape
- Green iguanas,
- Crocodiles with a broad forehead,
- Giant anteaters,
- And many birds such as macaws, great horned owls, pope vultures , cranes, and chilean flamingos.

The garden of the zoo has numerous species of trees. On 3 hectares, it offers to the visitors a beautiful space to see, managed by ecological gardening techniques (use of composting, mulching, organic products and the prohibition of use of toxic agricultural products). It contains so many endemic species to the region, such as squirrels, green lizards, ringneck snakes, herons, kingfishers, ...

Two hours to half a day allow you to see most of the animals.

The zoo is open the following hours:
- From February the 7th to April the 3rd: open from 13:30 to 18:30
- From April the 4th to June the 30th and in September: open from 9:30 to 19:00,
- In July and August: open from 9:30 to 19:30,
- From October the 1st to the 24th: open from 13:30 to 18:30
- During the All Saints holidays (Autumn break): open from 13:30 to 18:00.

annual closure from November the 4th to February the 6th.

The vegetation of the enclosures for each species is a detailed copy of the natural environment of each animal housed.

The zoo participates in the preservation of endangered species such as the lion of the Atlas, the maned wolf, giraffe the Niger or the red panda.

At last, the zoo is heavily involved in environmental management processes and has been recognized as such by the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development in 2007.

Theme days are organized by the zoo to inform visitors about biodiversity and sustainable development issues.
