Articial blood used for the very first time on a man




Technical uses of stem cells are constantly increasing.
The last progress took place on Friday, September the 2nd, 2011, that saw the first man receiving artificial blood.A billion of red cells have been created per a French team thanks to additive products said 'growth factors'.

This opens the way to numerous uses, and especially to cover the lack of donnors whom needs is increasing because of the age of the world population, getting older.

However, we will need to wait one or more decades to see this technics used widely.
