The arboretum of the Castle Balaine combines recognitions and records:
- Oldest botanical and flower gardens of France,
- Classified as a historical monument,

Created in 1804 by Aglae Adanson, the arboretum is about on 20 hectares around the private castle still inhabited by the same family.
With over 2500 varieties of plants, you'll see the landscape changing with the seasons, and whether we are in Spring for example, with rhododendrons and Magnola, in Summer with the old roses, or in Fall with colorful exotic hardwoods, your impressions in this English park will be always renewed.

The Arboretum invites you to the reverie and to spend from two hours to one day won't tire you...

It is open daily from March the 1st to November the 30th from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00.
