Visitors learn about radio astronomy by two major science instruments on this place:
- The decimetric radio-telescope
- The radioheliograph

The radioastronomy station has four types of instruments that are observing the sky:
- The decimetric radiotelescope,
- The radioheliograph,
- The network of decimetric antennas,
- The LOFAR station.

The site is near the D29, on the axis Salbris-Orleans & Nancay-Vierzon-Bourges.

Arrived at Nancay, take thedirection of Souesmes (D29)
The site is located at about 2km on the right (parking).
The site is nestled in the heart of Sologne at 2 hours from Paris and Bourges Salbris and at 70km away from Orleans. Highway A71 (Orleans, Clermont-Ferrand) exit Salbris then D944 for 14 km.
From Vierzon, it is at 20km towards Auxerre.

Visits are done by appointment only. They are done by the independent organization The Pole of the Stars.
It is accessible to disable persons but plan to follow long ways.

Take shoes for walking on the damp ground: the site is very well equipped, but if the weather is not extra or has not been good in the previous days, you will need to walk in a relatively wet.

The park includes:

These various instruments, some gigantic, are spread over several hectares.
